Over the past few weeks of 2025, Route1 Group has expanded its presence and engaged with key events aligning with our one-stop supply chain logistical solutions, fulfilment, and hand assembly services. Here’s a quick recap of our activities:

January: Toy Fair at London Olympia
We kicked off the year with a visit to the Toy Fair at London Olympia. This event was a perfect match for our logistics solutions, fulfilment services, and custom handling, as it brought together businesses in the toy industry that may need tailored solutions for managing products with care and efficiency. This aligns with our core services, including warehousing, distribution, and custom fulfilment solutions, along with our growing supply chain services.

February: A Hat Trick of Events
February has been packed with activity, starting with the Spring Fair at the NEC Birmingham, an important event for our hand assembly services. As we specialise in subscription box fulfilment and support businesses needing hand fulfilment solutions, the Spring Fair provided an ideal platform to showcase our services to potential clients who require assistance with packing, kitting, and personalised assembly. The event brought us in touch with numerous businesses looking for reliable partners in these areas.

In addition, Drapers, another significant event, was on the same day. This event aligns perfectly with our focus on retail replenishment solutions. Drapers brought together fashion industry professionals and retailers who require efficient, scalable solutions for replenishing stock and managing retail logistics. Our tailored replenishment solutions, which streamline inventory management, fulfilment, and distribution, are a perfect fit for these retail businesses seeking operational efficiency.

Lastly, we exhibited at the Northampton Expo, which brought us closer to home at the University of Northampton. This event allowed us to engage with local businesses and showcase our services in logistics, express couriers, fulfilment, and assembly to a regional audience, further strengthening our ties within the community. It was an excellent opportunity to connect with potential clients in our backyard, demonstrating how we can support businesses with tailored solutions in these essential areas.

Efficient Returns Handling with Route 1

We are also proud to highlight the achievements of Brendan Flanagan, who became a Member of the Institute of Couriers (MIoC) in the summer of 2024, alongside our Managing Director, Richard Haines, and Commercial Director, Lee Haines. Brendan, Richard, and Lee are excited that with a larger sales team—following the recent appointment of Andy Graves and the successful passing of probation by Madison Bolton, who is now a highly valued member of the Route1 team—there are more resources available to reach a wider audience. This expanded team allows us to better respond to the growing demands of our clients, and we are continuously developing our services to meet those needs.

We also celebrate Brendan Flanagan’s 7th anniversary with Route1 Group in March 2025! A true testament to his dedication, Brendan has been an integral part of our team. Only three more years until he earns his much-anticipated watch (a little wink from us at Route 1)!
